3. Use of web tracking
"Cookies" are small files that allow us to store information specific to you, the user, on your PC when you visit one of our websites. Cookies help us to determine the frequency of use and the number of users of our websites and to make our offers as comfortable and efficient as possible for you. On the one hand, we use so-called "session cookies", which are stored temporarily exclusively for the duration of your use of one of our websites. On the other hand, we use "permanent cookies" to record information about visitors who repeatedly access one of our websites. The purpose of using these cookies is to provide you with optimum user guidance, to "recognise" you and to present you with as varied a website and new content as possible in the event of repeated use. The content of a permanent cookie is limited to an identification number. Name, IP address etc. are not stored. An individual profile of your usage behavior does not take place.
You can also disable cookies in your browser, restrict them to certain websites or set your browser to notify you when a cookie is sent. You can also delete cookies from your PC hard drive at any time (folder: "Cookies"). Please note, however, that in this case you must expect a limited display of the page and limited user guidance.
5. Integration of social plugins
Our website uses social plug-ins ("plug-ins") from various social networks such as Facebook.com, Twitter.com, Google+ and Pinterest. The purpose of these plug-ins is to provide you with an opportunity to interact with your contacts and to easily disseminate interesting information. These plug-ins can be recognized by the respective logo in the network. We use a 2-click solution so that no data transfer takes place during a mere visit to the website.
Only when you click on such a plug-in, your browser establishes a direct connection to the servers of the respective network. The content of the plug-in is transmitted directly to your browser via the network and integrated into the website. If these networks are based outside the EU or the EEA, we cannot therefore exclude the possibility that your data may be transferred to a server outside the EU/EEA and processed there. We have no influence on the extent and the period of use of the data that the respective network collects with the help of this plug-in and therefore inform you according to our level of knowledge:
By integrating the plug-in, the respective network receives the information that you have called up the corresponding page of our Internet presence. If you are logged in to one of the networks, this network can assign this information to your profile. If you do not want the network to collect information about your visit to our website, you must log out first. In principle, however, it is possible that the network may obtain and store your IP address even though you have not registered there or are not logged in. We also have no information on the deletion of the data collected by the plug-in provider.
The plug-in provider stores the data collected about you as user profiles and uses these for the purposes of advertising, market research and/or demand-oriented design of its website. Such an evaluation takes place in particular (also for not logged in users) for the representation of demand-fair advertisement and in order to inform other users of the social network about your activities on our website. They have the right to object to the creation of these user profiles at the service providers.
The legal basis for the use of the plug-ins is Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. f DSGVO. The purpose, duration and scope of the data collection and the further processing and use of your data as well as your relevant rights and setting options for the protection of your privacy can be found in the data protection information of the respective social networks:
6. Integration of YouTube
Our website uses plugins from Google's YouTube site. This website is operated by YouTube, LLC, 901 Cherry Ave, San Bruno, CA 94066, USA.
If you visit one of our pages equipped with a YouTube plugin, a connection to the YouTube servers is established. The YouTube server is informed which of our pages you have visited.
If you are logged into your YouTube account, you allow YouTube to associate your surfing behavior directly with your personal profile. You can prevent this by logging out of your YouTube account.
The use of YouTube is in the interest of an appealing presentation of our online offers and thus on the basis of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f DSGVO. We only record the extent to which the YouTube videos integrated with us are accessed and delete this data after two years.
7. Google Adwords Tracking
We use the offer of Google Adwords to draw attention to our attractive offers with the help of advertising materials (so-called Google Adwords) on external websites. These advertising media are delivered by Google via so-called "Ad Servers". Ad server cookies are used here, which enable the evaluation of performance parameters such as ad impressions, clicks and conversions. In this way, we can determine how successful the individual advertising measures are in relation to the data of the advertising campaigns. If you access our website via a Google ad, Google Adwords stores a cookie on your PC. These cookies usually expire after 30 days and are not intended to identify you personally. The following analysis values are usually stored for this cookie:
Unique Cookie ID
Number of ad impressions per placement (frequency)
Last Impression (Relevant for Post-View Conversions)
OptOut information (mark that the user no longer wishes to be addressed)
These cookies enable Google to recognize your Internet browser. If a user visits certain pages of an Adwords customer's website and the cookie stored on their computer has not expired, Google and the customer can recognize that the user has clicked on the ad and has been redirected to this page. Each Adwords customer is assigned a different cookie. Cookies cannot therefore be traced via the websites of Adwords customers. We do not collect and process any personal data in the aforementioned advertising measures. We only receive statistical evaluations from Google. On the basis of these evaluations we can recognize which of the used advertising measures are particularly effective. We do not receive any further data from the use of advertising material; in particular, we cannot identify users on the basis of this information. The legal basis for the storage of cookies by Google is the consent given (Art. 6 Par. 1 S. 1 lit. a DS-GMO).
Due to the marketing tools used, your browser automatically establishes a direct connection to the Google server. Please note that data processing by Google may take place outside the European Union. Google has submitted to the EU-US Privacy Shield, https://www.privacyshield.gov/EU-USFramework. Furthermore, we have no influence on the extent and further use of the data that is collected through the use of this tool by Google and therefore inform you according to our level of knowledge:
8. Use of Google Remarketing
In addition to AdWords tracking, we also use Google Remarketing. This is retargeting, i.e. the delivery of interest-based advertising on other advertising spaces outside our offer. After visiting our website, this application can be used to display advertisements for the services / products previously viewed on our website when you visit other websites. The cookie stored in your browser serves the purpose of recognition. As a result of your previous visit to our website, Google may record your interest in certain products and use them for the targeted playout of advertisements on other websites. According to Google's own statements, Google does not merge the data collected in the context of remarketing with your personal data, which may be stored by Google. According to Google, pseudonymization is used in remarketing in particular.
The application serves to be able to place you interest-fair advertisement and to advertise our products purposefully. Google has submitted to the EU-US Privacy Shield. The legal basis for storing the cookie is the consent given (Art. 6 Par. 1 S. 1 lit. a DS-GMO). The further evaluation of the data collected over a period of up to two years is carried out on the basis of Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. f DS-GMO.
If you do not want ads tailored to your interests to be displayed, you can disable cookies in your browser or notify Google in the future by following this link: https://www.google.com/settings/ads/onweb/
10. Secure data transmission
Your personal data is transmitted securely by encryption. This applies to your order and also to the customer login. We use the SSL (Secure Socket Layer) coding system.
Furthermore, we protect our websites and other systems by technical and organizational measures against loss, destruction, access, modification or distribution of your data by unauthorized persons.
