DOMA

DOMA is an Argentine artist collective consisting of Mariano Barbieri, Julian Pablo Manzelli (Chu), Matias Vigliano (Parquerama), and Orilo Blandini.

In the late 1990s, Buenos Aires and Argentinas politics and economy were crashing, so a group of artists saw the emergence of an alliance of creatives who interacted with their environment and the turbulent situation in a colorful, confused, wild and sarcastic, but nevertheless optimistic way.

This made the artist collaboration one of the most important of their time in Buenos Aires.

Provocative and motivating, stimulating to think and act, unconventional and eye-catching street art emerges in all facets: stencils, projections, performance art and various other multimedial projects. DOMA constructs partly over-drawn and absurd, colorful alternative worlds and characters with a re-recognition value.

DOMA is currently working with a wide range of media, mainly audiovisual, creating animations, drawings, screen prints and sculptures, which are mostly part of large installations.
